Program Background

With projected growth of 229.25 billion in online advertising globally by the end of 2017, Digital Marketing (DM) is currently one of the lucrative and fastest growing industries in the world. eMarketer predicts the figure to reach 335 billion by 2020 representing over 46% of total media Ad investment. Mobile internet Ad will particularly fuel this growth, rising to 73.7% of Digital Marketing and representing 34.2 of total media Ad investment. Facebook alone created 4.5 million jobs around the world in 2014 [According to Deloitte]

This rise of the internet and mobile has led to these significant changes in the marketing world. Half of the world has access to internet connection today. In 1995, it was less than 1%.

Between 2013 and 2015, the top two skills marketing departments were looking for were: SEO/SEM Marketing and Digital and Online Marketing [LinkedIn & Hobspot, 2016].
